My Summer Vacation: Part 13
I didn’t know why I did it. I think it was for the better. Maybe it would have made me less stressed. But that didn’t matter anymore. I did what I did. I wrote Nick a note and left the resterant. Jess was calling after me but I didn’t care. I had to get out of there. I had no idea why. Nope. None. I just needed to be free.
I sat down at a coffee shop a block away and ordered a vanilla bean frapachino. Who doesn’t love frapachinos?
I sat quietly and drank it and started to think about Nick. I wondered what he was doing right now. I felt bad for the poor guy. All of a sudden I saw someone walking towards me.
It was Nick.
“Hi.”
“Nick what are you-”
“I couldn’t stay away.”
