Time for Me to Fly 29

The Guitar Hero was endless, and I was getting beaten so badly. Dizzy, however, was giving Paul a run for his money. They had played thirteen songs against each other. I was counting.

Trey and me had a thumb war. Now that I won. Nick was asleep…shocker. I turned and propped my legs on Trey, leaning back on the couch. Every now and then I would look away from the t.v. screen and catch Trey’s eyes looking at me. Each time that feeling came back. And each time I got more and more confused. The thing about Trey is, if you catch him staring, he doesn’t look away. It’s almost like a challenge…he just stares harder, almost like he is trying to completely understand you just by looking at you. It’s completely unnerving.

When Paul and Dizzy finished…(I took multiple pictures..) We all fought for use of the bathroom to change then went to bed. I pulled the curtain around my bunk and then my phone vibrated in my hand.

I flipped it open wondering who would be texting me.
