This is based on “Ma Meeshka Mow Skwoz” by the most creative band in the universe, Mr. Bungle. Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=91bPoYEwn24 Lyrics: http://www.sing365.com/music/lyric.nsf/Ma-Meeshka-Mow-Skwoz-lyrics-Mr-Bungle/21BD708C9F28A99448256C55001310C7
Completely understand why he’s in the ward. Tried reading the lyrics backward….. Nothing… Inside out… Nothing… No code made any sense what so ever, so I gave up. . On another note, I didn’t realize Mike Patton fronted Mr. Bungle until I looked at the video. I find it strange that I’ve never attempted to give them a second listen.
I highly suggest you don’t try to make sense of the lyrics. Mike Patton is known for making nonsensical noises in his songs, and this song is full of them. His talent for it is incredibly apparent on his album Adult Themes for Voice. Thanks for the comments though guys. I’m glad you got a kick out of the story.
The song did not really mean much to me, but I liked the picture that you painted of the insane asylum – it definitely has that institutional feel. In my mind’s eye I could see the yucky green walls.
