“Who’s side are you on, anyway?” She demanded, looking at me expectantly. I felt caught between a rock and a hard place. “What you told him was kind of a big thing.” She shook her head. “You’re my friend and its like you’re defending him.” I nodded “I just I know how it affects him.” She sighed”So I kissed one guy at a party, its not like I don’t love him just because of one screw-up.” I close my eyes, to soften the impact. They hit hard because I remembered talking to him. How broken and devastated he was. “Its not just a screw-up…not to him…” I paused.”You really don’t know how much this hurt him.” She looked away, to avoid my stare I suppose. “He’s a guy…He should be able to understand this.” I shook my head even though she couldn’t see me. “No,He’s a good guy.” I paused then continued “And if you aren’t going to apologize for what you really did, then you should tell him.
