She doesn’t know what happened after that. All she can remember is waking up in the hospital.
Kristine woke in a panic having no idea where she was. Once she realized that she was in a hospital bed she remembered. She remembered her leaving him, him hitting her, and nothing after that.
She looked around the room again. This time she noticed a bunch of flowers on the table beside her. beside the flowers there was a card. She picked it up and read it.
“Kristine,
I am so sorry! I never meant to hurt you. Please take me back.”
She couldn’t look at his name. She couldn’t hear his name. She couldn’t think of him at all.
She put the card down and cried quietly. After a few minutes she fell asleep.
