All red heads are insane, and make for great enemies. And as someone who still has a scar on his face from being hit with a golf club, I can tell you it’s a great way to beat your enemy.

I am somewhat confused by the ball landing in the pool though. I’d expect it to fly outside the backyard with that sort of force. Unless it’s a whiffle ball. I used to practice with those and they don’t go very far, but don’t splash either.

I was using a wiffle ball, and when I was outside getting inspiration for this ficlet, mine landed in the pool and made a very—VERY— small splash, but it splashed nonetheless.

You are correct, again. They do splash.

Great fic. I’ve never been golfing, unless you count miniature golf. I need to try it while envisioning my enemy’s head getting hit. That just adds a whole new level of fun to the game! :p
