I do not think that I could ever be a good poet, mostly because I don’t take myself seriously enough

So here is something arbitrary that spawned out of a book I am reading at the moment. Not directly, but through the idea of sub light space travel.

Which, of course, we have been doing for at least a century

I liked it, kind of an ode to T.V. while admitting its questionable significance/merit…at least that’s how I read it.

I really liked this, particularly the last two lines.

I’m not a huge fan of poetry, but I did enjoy this. I think it was well written, and felt like it had a good amount of thought put into it. Plus, it’s not about love or some other sappy thing that poems are usually about. That’s a bonus right there.
