Colorado part 12: Awkward? Harrises!
The instant the car was put into park, I opened the door and got out. She had already seen me pulling in and so we both greeted each other with a huge hug and tons of squealing.
It must have been rather amusing to others to watch this childish behavior, but we could have cared less. We were both so excited about this trip. We had been talking about it forever. Just the two of us. That’s when I remembered Lindsey.
Kacie put her bags away and came back outside. Lindsey and I were just lingering, waiting for Kacie to come meet us.
This might be a tad bit awkward, I thought to myself.
Kacie stepped out of her room which was right at the front of the building and was now standing with us.
There was a couple seconds of silence.
“So, Kacie, you know Lindsey obviously,” I said.
Thankfully, that was all I had to say because nothing was awkward after that.
We all hung out for about an hour just walking around and hanging out in the lounge.
Then Kacie brought up that the Harrises had arrived, too.
