Colorado part 15: Guys
“Nice,” he said as he continued to walk down the stairs.
I, meanwhile blushing as red as could be, stumbled to get back up.
The other girls were laughing, but so was I so it was all good. The guy left the vicinity of the staircase of shame and we continued for a little while longer to pretend that we were staying there.
I guess that was the moment everything really started. The minute we saw that guy, things changed for the four of us. We hadn’t been hanging out that long all together for things to change so drastically, but things did.
Later that night, we were in one of our rooms just hanging out. Tina had gone back to her room quickly to get a spare room key before the rest of her family had left the room.
Once she came back, she had a strange expression upon her face.
“What’s wrong?” I asked.
“Nothing. There were just some guys down there and they were like staring at me and asking if I wanted to go play basketball with them…” Tina told us.
Then I said something I thought I never would have…
