Off the Dock
staightened her fuschia cami, and walked forward in her pointy-heeled pink Jimmy Choos. Stepping around a boat, she walked over to meet her friend, who was leaning against the wooden railing of the dock.
“Hey, babe, ready to go shopping? I heard Chanel is having a sale, and I want to be first in line!” her friend grinned. “But why where you behind that big ol’ boat?” she inquired, not noticing how abnormally wet the girl was.
“Just looking at the ocean, and yeah, sure, let’s go shopping,” the girl smiled.
Her friend lifted up a bent elbow, and the girl took it. Stepping forward, they walked off the pier and onto the paved road. All that time, the girl didn’t know that there was a thin piece of seaweed stuck to the small of her back.
