“Jack.â€? I stood quickly and faced him.
“Hey, what’s up?â€? He seemed calm enough for a conversation. Hopefully nothing more.
“Um … nothing.â€?
“Well, come here.â€? Jack walked toward me with his arms out.
“No, Jack don’t.â€? I started to back away but he had already grabbed me. “Let go of me.â€?
“I just wanna talk.â€?
“Then let me go.â€? I squirmed but he had my waist.
“No, that’s okay. You might run away. So, what’s new with you?â€?
“Um … nothing. Jack, I’ll scream. I promise you.â€?
“Scream and see where that gets you. Just swear not to run.â€?
“I swear, okay.â€? He pushed me to the ground. “OW!â€?
“Sorry. So let’s talk.â€? He sat next to me, grabbing my hand.
“No. We are not like that.â€? I snapped.
“Not yet.â€? He freed my hand and smirked.
“Oh, we have nothing to talk about. Look, I got to go. I uh have to work. Bye.â€? I stood but he pulled me to the ground, holding me down.
“GET—OFF—MY—GIRLFRIEND!â€? Trey suddenly yelled. He came out of no where and just when I was beginning to think he was gone forever.
