They used to call him that. They said, “he was always in the right place at the right time.” They said, “he was what made it all come together.”

They said, “he wanted to change the world.” They said, “he knew he was gonna do it. He was gonna do it alone.”

Then, one day, they said they found him fighting in another country. Said he fell three times.

They said, “the third time, he knew he couldn’t do it alone. The third time, he asked for help.

“And in one fluid movement, he stretched his arm to his brothers on either side. And together they breathed.”
