The golden key
Now the prince knew, as all good princes do, that in order to fulfill his quest he would have to complete three impossible challenges, the nature breadth and depth of which he knew not.
First and foremost he would have to visit the wise sage, who lived as a hermit on the tallest peak located east of the sun and west of the moon.
As he was traveling he came across an old women with a golden key. She played with the key in the glimmering sunlight and cackeled to herself as it gleamed.
“Hello, grandmother.” greeted the prince “What a fine play thing you have found.”
“Fine a thing it is indeed, it is a key to two wonderous things.” crooned the old woman as she waved the key under his nose.
“Alas for two treasures only one opens it
I can not decide so for you it’s a gift.”
With that she handed him the key and danced away cackling.
