This is simply told, but deeply tragic all the same. The interaction between Cooper and his daughter is really well written here.

Agreed. Very well done. Simple, yet deeply emotional. Great presentation of his feelings as he tries to reconcile his past with what he needs to do to be a good father.

I read what you were trying to do with this series in the previous one’s comments, and I like the idea of having him depressive in the future and a tough cop in the past. I love stories that aren’t told in the conventional way.
