Anna went in the bathroom to change. She breathed in the scent of his clothes & it smelled so good. She took her hair down so she could put it back up in a curly ponytail.

They headed to the bus stop & it came around the corner shortly. They rode all the way to the corner of the newspaper shop & walked down to it, all the while in content silence. The bell rang on the door as they walked in.
“What cha got for me today Randy?” Jack called out.
“There’s a HUGE fire downtown! The firefighters have been trying to put it out for hours. It’s covered 3 blocks of house by now. I want you to go down there to see if you can figure out what started it, how many died, how many were just injured yatta yatta yatta. Here’s some money to get you down there.”
Jack looked at Anna as he reached in his own pocket for some money.
“I might not be back by lunch, so here’s this so you can go get somethin to eat.” Anna could tell he didn’t like leaving her.
“I’ll be fine,” she smiled as stood on her toes to kiss his cheek.
