Very cute. I like the modernization of Cupid with six-shooters instead of a bow and arrow. Also, the whole attraction/lust versus love was a great point to make to flesh out the Cupid mythos.

This was a great line: Look at that old couple there, bound in a mahogany haze, that’s love.
I like that it’s less showy than lust/attraction. This is one of your best, Ruffino.

Wonderful as always. Funny that I am in the middle of a juvenile novel that focuses on a world in which mythological creatures are alive and well in the current century. Loved this, puts me even more in the mood for something enchanting to occur. :D
