If shes everything you've ever wanted: Part 42
Matt.
Matt was nothing.
Matt was a small pothole on the highway of life, no this was far worse.
This was a bulldozer coming in and obliterating every inch of the slab of asphault that once carried me farther through life.
I was at a standstill.
No moving forward, no moving back. Completely stuxk between two realities, the empty one, with no feeling, no trace of a fathers existence, or the one filled with bittersweet memories followed by long empty silences, tears, and crying to Sean for support.
“My dad.”
He looked down puzzled.
I realized he knew nothing about my parents.
“What happened?”
I couldn’t form words, my breath was coming out with heaves.
I felt like I wasn’t taking in enough air.
So I gasped and gasped.
“ELLE! WHAT HAPPENED !”
He was yelling, not in anger though, in concern.
“Hes dead.”
“How? What happened?”
His eyebrows pulled together, and his voice was solemn.
“I can’t”
I forced out.
I knew saying it would make it so much worse.
I needed time.
“Alright, I understand.”
