Just Your Normal Walk On The Beach.

We walk down the beach talking. Its our favorite thing to do, just walk and talk as if no one can hear us. The beach is the world and the world is ours. The water is too cold to actually swim in so I run knee deep, ignoring the eyes of other campers. Lee comes in after me. I bend over and prepare myself.

“You wouldn’t.” He says.

“Oh I would.” I answer.

He runs around me trying to escape but its no use. I swing my arms wildly covering both him and myself in water. Shivers reverberate through my body and the momentary distraction costs me. Lee picks me up and swiftly tosses me into deep water.

“Lee!” I yell gasping for air. I hear him laughing beside me and jump at him. Landing right on top of him I push him down. He holds onto my hand though and takes me with him.

He drags us onto the sand and we walk some more, the only wet people on the whole campground. I jump on my bike and whirl in circles. Lee follows me.

“MOVE KID !!!” I turn and feel the impact of the car and Lee’s hand on my shoulder.
