It Begins...
So she came across a new addiction.
Watching the crimson liquid flow, the high she felt from the loss of the blood. Marks all over her body like battle scars.
She wore long sleeve shirts and pants in the hottest of weather.
As she watched the thick liquid slide across her skin she thought of Anthony and everything she had lost. He was gone forever and she could never have him back. She’d lost all of her plans for her future.
They had been planning their wedding, it was to happen in October, only a few months after the accident had occurred. She had her many plans and clippings of what she wanted for the ceremony and reception lying on her dining room table when she got home from the hospital.
She was standing over the table, a drop of the deep red liquid fell from her wrist onto a clipping of the wedding dress she had been planning on buying at David’s Bridal the following weekend after that fateful night.
She cuts deep enough to see the flow but not to end it all.
