I stared down the doors of the public library. Suddenly the sunny sky turned to darkness. There were no stars, no moon, just clouds. The quaint building transformed to an old, rotting edifice. It looked like hell.

I wandered inside. There were millions of rows of book. People immediately stopped what they were doing and stared at me. Why were they staring at me? What did I do? They looked…angry. Then suddenly an old woman dressed in black smiled sinisterly and pulled me in, deep into the halls with books. I became lost; I couldn’t breathe. It felt like forever until we came to a stop and she pulled out one and gave it to me. I opened it and found a newspaper clipping.

Obituary: 8/23 Tim Evans, a local musician was beatened and then burned to death by a mob. Police are investigating whether to confirm that it was a hate crime. A single man was found fleeing from the scene…
