50 Doors
In the distance, I heard the sound of hoof beats which made no sense because beneath my feet was a mossy, spongy surface that gave with every step. On all sides of me were walls of greenery interspersed with the trunks of the tallest and largest trees that I had ever seen or heard about. These trees were larger than even the redwood forest trees. Above my head the trees provided a canopy of greenery and a cacophony of sound. The sound was provided by the sound of every possible type of bird that I could imagine and then some. I could not see the birds for the trees hid them; however, the sound was all that I need to believe in their presence.
Upon further examination, the walls of greenery proved to be so tightly woven together as to allow no passage through. The walls of greenery acted as canyon walls providing a corridor going either direction. I could not determine how far the corridors might stretch for the walls were slightly curved hiding the view.
