This is fabulous! A series I’m definitely following! I love that he slides up the banister. Perfect detail that cats can sense him, and I love his nonchalant ways. I love the image of the girl untangling herself from her “mortal coil”. I just love it!
I agree with Kermitgorf… it’s so casual. And oh, the irony: “Knowing I had some time to kill, I decided to play a game of solitaire”. Haha, love it. Great job.
defibrillator… The title drew me in, and reminded me of a Woody Allen one-act called “Death Knocks” – sort of a spoof on Bergman’s The Seventh Sign. This story has nothing to do with that one (he plays gin against his mark, not solitaire), so I’ll end my tangent here. Good fun reading! On to the next one…
