“What’s her problem?”

None of them answered me. I could tell by the avoidance it was something big. I shifted my stare from Mani to Ash to Jam and back to Mani again. Finally, Jam speaks.

“Well, Drew.” Drew? That loser. He doesnt deserve Mani. Out of all the losers here at school she had to pick him. “About 2 weeks ago, Stee started callin Mani’s phone blockin her number and saying all types of stuff after she heard that Mani and Drew were official.”

“And you guys are just telling me about this now??” By this time my foot was tapping. I was mad. Mad at Stee for playing little girl games and even more mad at my friends for keeping this from me. So we’re hiding things now??? I thought we were friends.

“Dont be mad at them, I made them promise not to tell you,” Mani says,”You kno how your temper gets.”

The warning bell for homeroom rung. Ash, Mani and Jam were all in the same homeroom. I was across the hall. Ugh I entered the room and saw him.

Maybe this wont be so bad.
