Dreaming 4
“I know. You just have no creativity, Anna.â? Smiled Nancy. “You better get going. Eight-fifteen.â?
Anna jumped from her chair, grabbed her shoulder bag from behind the door and hurried out of the townhouse she shared with Nanami. The morning rush hour was already beginning in an outside part of New York. Anna barely knew the city because she had moved in with her friend last month and was so caught up with work. “Anna! Get going already!â? Nancy called from behind her. “You’re going to be late!â?
“I normally am.â? She called back. Heaving a heavy sigh she trudged off down the front walk and around the iron fence to pick up a taxi.
