when does a story become a tragedy?
when a hero, or, maybe not a hero in the conventional sense, but, a hero as pertaining to this one specific instance fights through hell, gets hit with everything that could possibly happen just to have the thing that he was questing for taken from him at the last moment?

its after that one moment, when the truth finally hits him that all that he loved, all that he fought for, cried for , lived for and in some sense died for is lost to him forever, its when that soul crushing sense of failure sets in, just before the story ends, when the hero feels that final blow, not to his body, but to his heart, tired, and broken
thats when a story becomes a tragedy, because before all that, its just a comedy with a sad ending
its all fun and games until someone loses the one they love
but in a greater sense, its still hilarious
