Her Mom walked up to her and wrapped her into a hug.

“I really am sorry. With all these crazy things going on this year, you haven’t been yourself and I haven’t tried to help you through it. I’m so sorry.”

“I’ts okay mom.” She said, wiping away tears. “At least we put on a show for all these people. Dinner and a movie…” she joked.

“See honey? Everything is gonna be all right. And through all of this, you still never lost your sense of humor.”

They both smiled and walked out of the resturant.

Maybe everything would turn out all right after all.
