Usually on his way to work, David took the bus.

But not inside the bus.

He rode the bumper just to save 50 cents.

When he waited for the bus to start moving slowly so he could hop on when nobody could see him, something stopped him.

A group of people already were sitting on the bumper.
Nobody ever did that! David fumed as he walked quickly
to work.

He started to think about the course of this morning compared to the other normal mornings.

Now he started to fret.
