What She Loved, What She Needed
She decided to walk down to the lake in her happiness. It was such a long walk, not that she cared cause she loved walking, but the rain had stopped by the time she got there. She stood at the edge, looking at the mountains so beautiful they stood. She mindlessly unchained the waverunner and pushed it out in the water. She started it, but before she took off, she looked one more time at the mountains. They stood so beautifully and confident, yet there was always that mystery about them that she loved so much.
She was doing 40 barely out of her cove, but she didn’t care; she loved going fast.
There was noone out on the lake but her, and she never felt so free. She looked around her as those grand mountains slowly passed by. Then the sun, that orange setting sun just barely over the tree tops colored the skies pink & yellow. It took her breath away to see the picture God painted on such a simple lake.
She now realized how much she needed this. Freedom & Peace and most importantly, God.
