Still and Unchanged
I hold my breath and wait. Closing my eyes I wait for something to happen. My heart stops. When you pass by I wonder why everytime I see you I wait.
I wait for something to happen. Hoping, wishing, and wanting for something to change. Change, why can’t things just change? I don’t want the way things are now. I want different.
Wanting it so badly I still wait. Forgeting that if I want things to change I have to change them on my own. Change is hard to come by itself. You must change for the world around to you.
So here I am, waiting as the world passes me by. Things still unchanged and you still walk past me. I become invisible and still. A tree in the winds of time.
