Peace at Last

The room had nice wood floors with a closet that took up half of one of the wall. Past its sliding mirror doors, there were more designer clothes than Macy’s in Herald Square on Black Friday. There was Prada, Ralph Lauren, DKNY , Gucci, and my favorite, Juicy. I pulled my self away and flopped down on my tempurpedic bed with tan bed sheets. I looked on the wall across from the closet to see the huge window that displayed a cute stream flowing in my back yard, which I had yet to explore. Green trees and pink flowers were growing every where. It was so beautiful.

While admiring the scenery, a maid came through the door. “Would you like anything to eat or drink, Ms.Sam?” she asked.

“Um, can I have a Pina Colada, please?” The little robot maid took all of the things for the drink in whipped it up in about five seconds. “Here you are,” she handed me the drink and said, “I’m Maura. I’m in charge of everything here. If you need something, just call me,” she walked out the door leaving me feeling at peace.
