Amethyst Frontiers: Time out of Time.

“Captain,” Locke began, “When the Amethyst left space-dock on its maiden voyage, The Karama was 18 and a half years lost in space,”
Vargus’ face was an impenetrable mask, “That’s impossible,”
“One would think” the russian shrugged.
“Quantum Wake from Phase drive.. There was malfunction!” whispered the Grennan.
“Hush that thing up, before I reckon I’ll have my men push it out of the spacelock” Vargus said, “There are no Quantum signatures anywhere in this sector!”
“Phasing,” Tarn peeped.
Locke looked at the odd grey creature, and her eyes narrowed. Perhaps the answer to this whole puzzle was right underneath Vargus’ stubborn nose, and he refused to see it.
“Phasing!” Locke interated.
“Not you, too?”
Jim Morris stepped forward, “Would you listen to her for a change?” he barked.
Locke’s face went aghasted as she came between her doctor and a red-faced ship captain, dwarfed in the middle.
“I will kindly ask you, Locke to put a muzzle on your dog!”
“I’d be happy to, sir, but it’s easier said than done”
