Lauren watched her dad talk to the man across the street. He was a fellow architect like his dad only a bit older than he was. She saw him shouting and waving his hands at the man for not getting the right drafting plans and not doing anything about it.
“I thought I told you the draft is supposed to be correct not misplaced or incorrect,” said Lauren’s dad in a big fuss.
Lauren was eighteen so she knew what she wanted to be when she grew up, a designer. It didn’t run in the family but it wasn’t a problem to move to an apartment in Hollywood and start her job as an intern in Teen Vogue.
“I feel so stupid right now for being embarrassed by my dad,”

“I mean the seniors are like starring at him from their window.”
“No one cares about your dad they have their on life to take care of.”
“Not Jessica.”
