Good thing it’s day right here! Seriously, the ending made me gasp. It reminded me of ‘War of the Worlds’, how the aliens got down to Earth with lightning ~~- you might not have put a creature like that in your story -~~ this is just my overactive imagination talking. Yes, the infamous beginning drew out the infamous grey being. ;) Couldn’t help it. Especially with the lightening storm we had blow up here before dark. It was perfect. :D

the title makes a ton more sense after you read the story I was like “a grey through” the eff is a “grey through”, then i read the story and it turned the whole thing into an homage to Romeo and Juliett and I loved it , Always work the puns! 5 strs
