More tunnels
- Renita-
“So you guys aways heal, no matter the injury?” I cried, amazed. “How can you do that, it’s amazing. I’ve never heard of anything like that.” I leaned back, sitting crossed-legged. “Well, maybe you didn’t need onf of Consuela’s nine lives, but she thought that you did. Oh well, what happen happens I guess.”
With that I stood up, walking around the cave. It was lit by the many laterns on the wall, and there were two other clumsily made cots along the wall for me and Carlene. For now she was in Consuela’s, but she would probably be moved later on. There was also a fire pit in the center, with a few cooking utencils around it, and a few embers still glowed.
There was a tunnel leading farther back, but I only stayed in the main room where Carlene was. The tunnel wasn’t lit, and I was warned not to go down it earlier. Standing near it, I smelled something familiar, and a faint breeze came out of the opening. I wanted to go down it, but I knew I shouldn’t.
