A Scalper's Life

Jack sat down outside the stadium. He checked his watch. It was only 5 o’ clock. The concert wouldn’t start for another 3 hours.
He’d bought the tickets as soon as sales began, and it was fortunate, because the concert had sold out the day ticket sales were opened.
It wasn’t easy being a ticket scalper. Sometimes a concert sold better than expected, but sometimes he only managed to sell a few tickets, and a ton of money was wasted.
But he was a gambler, and risks were an everyday part of life for his kind.
Jack looked around. No one had been in need of a ticket so far, and it seemed like it would be a while before anybody would.
He looked around for a place to rest his head, and once he’d found one, he began to sleep.
And then, to dream.
