the hall.
He tried to shake me off, but I was clutching onto him too hard.
“Leum.”
I said pathetically.
“Jane, Im sorry.”
He said, still without eye contact.
“But, I dont understand.”
I pleaded.
“You dont have too.”
He sighed.
“You arent making any sence. Leum, you’re all I have.”
I begged.
anxious students brushed past us in the busy hallway, but I couldnt stop looking at his eyes.
“Not anymore.”
He shoved me away, and walked forward.
I collapsed to the floor.
everyone was going to the class they were expected in, but I couldnt seem to make my legs move.
I wasnt sure how long I had been there, in the middle of the main hallway, though it couldnt have been more than ten minutes.
but the guidance counselor came out of no where, and walked over.
“Sweetie, do you need help?”
She said, like she was talking to a three year old.
“Can I go home?”
I asked weakly.
“How about you come talk to me first.”
