The Man in Black
I saw Miss Harrington scream when the lightning flashed, I heard her through the glass. Then she dove and ran away. Great, now I have to go back to the guest house and ask if anyone else has their key.
I squished through the lawn on the west side of the house, so I’d now come full circle. When I arrived at the guest house I started yelling to announce my presence, so they wouldn’t react the same way upon seeing me, but the door was ajar.
“Hello? I said it’s just Charles! Not a scary ma…” A gruesome sight met my eyes. Each one had been killed where they sat. Blood dripped everywhere, someone’s head was not attached. I screamed.
I ran to the kitchen door, it was kicked open. I cautiously peered in, expecting a blow to the head. Instead I heard the Miss’s scream! I grabbed a cleaver and ran upstairs.
The man in black was finishing off the young beau’s head, and the Miss was backed into a corner right in front of him. As he lifted himself to kill her, she closed her eyes, and I swung the cleaver at his back
