By itself, I liked this story a lot. As part of the challenge, though, you need to make Jette more distinctly male. His words and reactions could just as easily been said by Carrie’s sister, as opposed to her brother. Also, most of the interaction here seems to be between Jette and Etienne. Keep working at it though…

I liked the situation though, lots of different levels of antagonism going on between the various characters.
