Interesting, but the last line throws off the whole story. Otherwise it’s great.

I really like this, but have to agree with Saint Chuck. “Booby-trapped” may not be the right word. Everything is great but that last sentence doesn’t quite fit. If you have just said, “I wonder if I should open it?” Something more subtle, but this does have momentum, which is why I gave it a 5 * Salute.
