I thought you really were nice. But the second you turned your back, she was so cruel to me. The same thing, since we were in the 5th grade, when I first moved to this town. She is always mean to me. But now I don’t have to put up with it anymore.

“What are you talking about Nathan? Heather would never be so cruel!” I shouted.

“As if you know. Do you know how many rumors she spread about you behind your back? Have you ever wondered why out of all the people in the school, the most rumors always are of you? You know that Heather was an unstoppable gossip. She just wanted to be on top. She used you to get straight As, and she used you to be the most popular girl in school.” Nathan said.

All that he was saying was entirely true. All through Junior High I literally lived in the guidance counselor’s office. There were always rumors going around about me, and the children at our school lived to be spiteful. That’s why in freshman year, I joined the private school nearby. Heather followed me there the next year.
