It was a dark and stormy night…I mean relatively speaking.It was actually night, there was no sun so ,you know ,technically it was dark out. The plethora of neon signs and streetlights gave the whole area a sort of glowing haze, like a sickly precancerous halo.Maybe it wasn’t that dark…
As for stormy, well everybody down here freaks out when it even drizzles.Personally anything under a category three hurricane I don’t really consider bad weather. I grew up in New Orleans ,so you know, maybe my perceptions of weather are kind of skewed. It was raining at least, on and off. It was a little gusty out so ,whatever,some of these wussies would probably claim this was a storm.
Now to recap,the sun was not actually in the sky, hence the darkness.The light pouring from a myriad of signage and lamps illuminated the suburban wasteland,so maybe it wasn’t actually dark. As for stormy, there was documented precipitation, with gusts in excess of twenty miles an hour.Whether or not anyone really considers that stormy…
