Reflect my Heart ( Part 1)
Caitlyn eyed herself cautiously in the mirror. “The blue?” she questioned herself, holding the blue shirt up to her white cami. “Or, maybe the red…” she dropped the blue and held the red up in its place, moving awkwardly in front of the mirror to get a better view.
She needed to look her best; it was her first day at her new high school. Her parents had decided to move her across the country, to Maryland of all places, to this creepy old house. Beautiful from the outside, but Caitlyn couldn’t shake this feeling of being watched.
But a perk of this new house was a gorgeous antique mirror that was about 7 feet high and framed in dark cherry wood.
“I’d go with the blue top,” someone said, and when she looked up, there was a young man standing behind her.
“OH MY GOD !” she shouted, turning and swinging blindly in the air before her. She suddenly stopped when she realized nobody was there.
She turned slowly back to the mirror and inspected it. No boy. She sighed. She was letting this anxiety get the best of her.
