Back home
I turned the car home and took my time. What was the hurry? I couldn’t do anything more tonight. Masada and my darling, Marlene, could wait.
I parked the car and walked to the unlocked door – I guessed that I forgot to lock it in my haste. I flipped on some lights and grabbed a piece of paper. I scrawled down some information I had uncovered today, so I wouldnt forget, and headed to bed.
I climbed into my side of the bed; Marlene’s side was as she left it. And slipped into a fit full sleep.
Dark shapes moved in and out of my dreams. My darling flashed in and out of my mind. I tossed and turned. But…then something changed…
