Tell Me You Love Me
My boots were filled with water as I walked through the sand, the waves crashing at my feet. I saw a sailboat in the distance, and the way the sun was setting made everything look beautiful.
He grabbed my hand, and told me how he felt.
“Baby, if this were a dream I’d be holding you, and loving you. But, I know that I must be dreaming now. Because…heh…just you being here with me is…un-real. I can’t believe you want me.”
“I always have and always will.” He kissed me on the cheek and blushed. This was a natural reaction for him. I figured that I would always be the one blushing, but apparently not. ‘Tell me you love me’, I said in my head. I don’t think he can read minds, but I was pretty sure he would tell me. Everything he said sounds like it would lead to that.
“There’s something I have to tell you.”
“Yes, Dear?” A smile was plastered across my face. He stopped and turned to me. Grabbing the belt loops of my boyfriend jeans, he said, “I love you.” Then he pulled me into one of the best kisses ever.
