“I don’t know what to do.” I whispered. Eliza had her hand on my shoulder, I leaned into her and let her comfort me. I felt like a little girl being shushed by her mother.
“What do you think you should do hun?” Eliza asked.
“I. . .I don’t know!” I cried. She beant her head toward mine so ours touched.
“Well. . .do you still love him Chels?” I looked up at the ceiling. did I?
“Yes,” I replied simply. Eliza picked up her head and looked directly into my moist eyes.
“Then work from that,” She whispered. I tilted my head. I opened my mouth. She held her index finger up, silenting me. I nodded.
“Now, get some sleep. It’s 6:30 in the morning” Eliza smiled at me before she got up. She grabbed her purse.
“Liz,” I called
She turned to me.
“Thanks, really. You’re a great friend. ” She gave a me sympathetic smile before turning and leaving the bedroom. I sighed and tried to fall asleep.
