We know him, we (hopefully) love him. The keenest of the keen, the sharpest of them all.
And he’s British, too.
I know, there’s a plethera of challenges out there. And I know, I have another challenge sinisterly circulating until September 13th (http://ficlets.com/stories/37651).
But I just had to “test a little theory of mine.”
Anyone who have read any of the adventures of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes will know of the detective’s amazing powers of deduction. (If you haven’t, I highly recommend you do so; there are some great podcasts of stories floating around.)
So here’s my challenge to you: write something where the main character deduces small details from an object. If you can, keep it to one ficlet, but no points off if it goes over.
Let’s make the deadline August 31st. Tons of time.
