The Remembering Has Only Just Begun

Vic was trying to escape from the song that was just a song to the normal population. But, not to Vic. To Vic, it had a purpose, a meaning, a story. He didn’t want to admit it because it hurt too much. Admitting that he was still in love with her. He loved everything about her. He didn’t mind the scars, because they were just a sign of struggle. Not weakness, or craziness, but showed the world that she survived, she is surviving. That her days of pain are over.

He missed reading her journals, and stories. It was the first time he truly understood her.

“The song has to be about her. How she only revealed her true self on pages. How she let me read them.”

See, for Vic, those pages were a connection. A connection to the girl that has his heart. It’s where he learned why. Why the scars existed. Why she went through a stage of dying her hair black. Why she went to a psychologist for the greater half of her childhood.

Vic wanted to remember. That is what he is going to do. Because he never wants to forget her.
