Unsure

Walking away from Stephen was probably the hardest thing I’ve ever done. No, okay, I’m sorry. It was just too easy.

Hadn’t he heard me when I said I didn’t like him anymore? Or maybe he was just hoping I wouldn’t want to hurt his feelings by leaving him. But seriously, that must have been a set-up. Bring out the hidden cameras and tell the whole world that I, Jessica am the girl to go to when you want your heart broken!

I started strolling down the sidewalk, carefree as ever when James came out of nowhere. He grabbed my arm firmly. “Let go!â€? I yelled, “I don’t want anything to do with you ever again!â€? I tried to yank free but his grip was too strong. “Let me go, James!â€?

He looked uncertain, then realized the random by-passers staring at us and released me. “I needed to talk to you.â€? he whispered while I rolled my eyes. “It’s important.â€?

Was I so horrible to let him explain himself to me? Or would it be better not knowing or caring about anything that had to do with him? I’m not too sure about either.
