Sangsue- part 5

A couple of days after my frightening exploration when I was in school I noticed something unusual. Oaikil was there. When I saw him causually leaning aganist the one wall of the high school smoking a cigarette I immediatly ran up to him and hissed, “What are you doing here? I thought you eat people?”
“I also said I’m trained. I can resist, for a bit of time,” He tossed the cigarette and smiled, displaying his sharp teeth, “I just wanted to tell you congrats.”
“What?” I subconciously glanced at the clock, knowing I was going to be late, “Wha-what do you mean?”
“Knocking over that arch didn’t stop us, it did the opposite.”
“And the opposite is?” I waved my hands in the air to tell him to continue.
“You freed us dear. That arch was the thing keeping our kind in. Some sort of spell or something.”
“Then how do you eat…”
“Did you really think you were the only one who wandered in?” I shuddered at that thought. Poor Maria. I pointed my finger at him, “This isn’t over. I want more answers. Soon.”
“Whatev.”
