“Bree! Bree, are you back here!? Bree!” Oaikil froze in place at the sound of my name. It was Parker, looking for me. Oaikil dropped me and ran away. My arms ached from where he was holding me and I was guessing I was probably going to have bruises there. I heard footsteps echoing across the walls, followed by Parker coming out of the darkness, “Bree, what happened?” I’m sorry to admit, but I broke down there, “Parker, I-I need to tell you the-the truth of those people.”
“What? Are you talking about that stupid clique again? Bree, there’s nothing wrong with them. There just strange people.”
“No, Park. I’m telling you something is wrong.” He stared at my distressed expression for a long time, before sighing, “Alright I believe you. Tell me what is wrong with these people while we walk out of this place.” He helped me up from the ground, walking towards the inevitable exit. I saw the broken arch and began crying again, “Oh Park, it’s all my fault…”
